AE Industrial Partners, LP (“AEI”), a private equity firm specializing in Aerospace, Defense & Government Services, Power Generation, and Specialty Industrial markets, announced today that it has acquired UAV Factory, a global leader in the tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) technology markets. UAV Factory will be a new standalone unmanned technology platform for AEI, as the firm looks to further invest in this fast-growing market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
UAV Factory announces the release of Penguin C Mk2 system – company’s most advanced small tactical UAS. Penguin C Mk2 successfully completed validation flight program and the company started deliveries to the customers.

CLEAR-PULSE /JDRONE successfully conducted its first acceptance flight of the Penguin C UAS over Fukushima, Japan on Friday the 15th of May 2020. It has been announced that Penguin C will be used for researching and monitoring radiation in the event of a nuclear power plant accident.

The Unmanned Systems Sciences Program in the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Daytona Beach Campus has selected the Penguin C unmanned aircraft system (UAS) from UAV Factory for flight training with student operators and pilots at the nation’s largest undergraduate UAS program.
