Adaptive Energy recognized at Dubai event for unique propane fuel cell technology that provides backup and offgrid power for rail crossings, remote radio networks, weather aviation cameras and other critical infrastructure
During this year’s NPGA expo, we were honored to participate in the New Products Showcase, which highlights emerging propane-powered technology. We exhibited the latest-generation Performer Series P250i Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Power System, which featured improved fuel monitoring, an easier installation and more updates on top of our already leading SOFC product.
“Ensuring our customers always have access to the most robust and innovative power capabilities means always being able to innovate and adapt,” said Tom Westrich, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer of Adaptive Energy. “And these innovations always start with what we hear from our customers as their key needs or pain points.”

The Penguin C Mk2 VTOL introduces the patented AEROFLOW Boom Technology, enabling a 20% increase in flight endurance. The patented technology showcases hoods over the vertical lifting rotors that automatically enclose the lifting rotors while the vehicle is in horizontal flight, significantly reducing the parasitic drag on the vehicle.
The Penguin B VTOL is sold as a platform for system integrators and is available with a wide range factory integrated options. Standard options include a highly reliable EFI engine, an onboard electrical generator, a portable ground control station as well as long-range radio datalinks and tracking antenna systems.
Collaboration reinforces commitment to improving disaster resilience and operating critical railway infrastructure safely by keeping crossings and signals powered during grid outages
