New Edge Autonomy Office Supports VXE30 UAS
On Just 1st, 2023 Edge Autonomy opened a new office in Huntsville, Alabama with the goal of increasing product production and building a highly technical, uniquely skilled team in a fast-growing market. Just 45 days after taking possession of the facility we are already completing production on cable harnesses for our VXE30 UAV, an important component of the Edge Autonomy ISR solutions offering.
With increasing customer orders from across the country and around the world, the importance of our Huntsville operations is clear – the more production our new office can take on, the faster our customers can take delivery of their mission-critical solutions.
“We set a goal for ourselves to get production up to speed within the first two months of opening the facility,” said Paul Parker, Electronics Production Supervisor for Edge Autonomy Huntsville. “Because we quickly assembled a skilled team, we were able to meet and surpass that goal, delivering for our customers and taking the production pressure off of our other facilities.”
As we continue to grow, our production capabilities and capacity will continue to expand to include additional content and products.
“Our team is adept at adapting to different tooling and specifications,” said Paul. “This is a cohesive group of problem solvers who are ready to take on new challenges. We’re set to bring new capabilities to the table and take on more for our company and for our customers.”
Expanding within a market also means developing talent capabilities. At Edge Autonomy we are dedicated to creating new opportunities for our personnel to learn and expand their skill sets. With each new product on our production line we are able to expose our talented teams to more ways to extend their knowledge and abilities. We are also looking to grow our employee base, expanding the economy in a dynamic area. “There is a large pool of technical talent here in the Huntsville area and we are excited to leverage those skills to better support our customers,” said Paul.
